Im gay iz there an easy way for a 16 year old gay teen 2 *** out 2 hiz family?
all my friends no i am gay
OK ignore those imature people you come here for answers not harrassment Im going to misspell to piss them off I hope you can understand what I am about to say

Ok there really isnt an easy way to come out to you family and that is because you feel the urge to tell them and when you thing you have the guts you really dont but I went through 17 years of my life keeping who I really was under a stone and when I came out it was like omg I feel so much better but give them hints like I did I kept asking my mom what would you do if I was gay and she would say love me for who I am maybe you should do that to you mom and if she says a reply that you dont think she will like then dont say nothing and if she ask what you ment just say nothing I was just wanting to know because my friend at school just came out to his mom and she has disowned him but you never know a positive reply might come out of that and you know what live you life to the fullest

Best of luck I hope to hear from you very soon name is sam by the way
Bisexual guys - Do you think you will get married and have guys?
I may be bi, may be straight, idk.. I love looking at gus nude, and can get hard easily, and *** easily.. However I think girls are hot, and can do it to them too. My family would hate it if i was gay. i have always wanted guys, and a nice happy family. so bisexual guys, especially teens.. Do you expect to get married and have guys?
I'm neither a guy nor bisexual, but since I answered some of your other questions and since there hasn't been a lot of activity on this one, I thought I'd write an answer to this one too. Hope you don't mind. :)

I know of more than one self-identified bisexual who has gotten married. Most have guys. Not all of them have had marriages that last, but at least one seems to have a very good marriage. For anonymity's sake, I'll call her "Joan".

Joan's husband knows Joan is bisexual and they have a fun time going out to "gentlemen's" clubs together, as well as doing many other things. They don't have guys, but I think that may be due to something medical. Not sure. I do know that they have been married for over 10 years and still seem very much in love. So, it is possible. As I said in another reply though, honesty is one of the most important parts of a good long term relationship.

Of the other bisexuals I know, one has been married more than once and has several guys, one married and got divorced and has one guy. Another is actually in a homosexual relationship and has a guy with her female partner. What you will do, no one can say. Your life is what you make of it.

Unfortunately, many more teens than are ever commonly reported commit suicide because of the very things you are concerned about. Thank you for calling the hotline! My sister died when I was 5 and neither of my parents have ever really gotten over it, even though it happened more than 20 years ago. They didn't lose her to sucide, but I imagine that would just make things even worse for your parents.

I know things seem really hard right now, but I promise they will work out eventually. Just be true to yourself. You can have a wife and guys if you want, but trying to change who your body reacts to is just an exercise in frustration, as I'm sure you are already learning. If you just accept that your body is going to do what it's going to do, but that you can still date who you want to date, I think things will go a lot easier.

Once again, I hope this helps and I hope you get more responses.

P.S. Not that you have ever mentioned any religious concerns, but since Vanessa C brings it up, intolerant people are actually more likely to go to Hell than either bisexuals or homosexuals. That is, if you believe in a Christian god. Of course, that brings up a whole topic of discussion that really doesn't pertain to the question you asked.
My chances at an Ivy?
I'm applying to Yale this fall for '12 admission, however, I'm a bit distraught over which school to use my ED/EA on... I'm also considering Cornell, Columbia, University of Chicago, and Tufts...

GPA: (UW) 3.98 (W) 4.677
Will graduate summa *** laude (with highest honor), top 5% (top 10/450 students), and with a "Laureate Diploma," which is the most rigorous diploma in my school district that requires a 10,000 word thesis (mine will be on either gay rights, bioethics, or censorship in film and literature) & powerpoint, and passing at least 6 AP courses.
AP's: 11 AP's total in just about every subject. I didn't pass one, and it's in a prospective major. :/
Grades: I received two B's... One in 8th grade (as a lazy student) in Spanish, and one in Geometry honors (I had a terrible teacher). And no, this isn't a self-serving bias, it's true.
EC's: president of Drama Club (a bunch of plays, performing arts department award, & various awards at district & state levels as well as eligibility for international competition), president of International Thespian Society sector at my school, president & founder of our Competitive Science Club (under consideration from MIT's prestigious high school science competition), president of the Gay/Straight Alliance (organized a regional dance as a safe haven for teens), historian of the Glee Club (performed at many baseball games, gigs), National Honor Society member, Academic Team competitor, Key Club member, Video Club member, GCHS film festival entry & nominee for best actor, volunteer at the local hospital (countless hours), acting director of a guyren's performing arts camp (many hours), library volunteer, volunteer for set construction of plays (years), tutor for students in every subject (many hours), and volunteer at fundraisers.
College Essay: I have several I'd like to use, but I wrote one on coming out that seems to be well received so that seems to be my best written one thus far.
Recs: I will have great recs... My teachers are phenomenal, but I'm sure everyone will have them as well.
Classes: took regular courses my freshman year (no choice), but advanced to AP classes/honors the following year -- weakest point
ACT: 29 (will retake for a better superscore)
SAT: taking in June (better at the ACT...)
SAT II: American History and Math I are being taken in about three weeks.
Hook: 1st generation Cuban American in Florida, hard income situation, and I'm gay (the latter shouldn't help, but it explains a lot on my resume haha).

I want to major in biochemistry & drama in order to do my pre med requirements, and I thought I'd have a better chance at Yale because of my theatre background, but who knows... Do I have a chance, if so, what school should I use my EA/ED on? I'm sorry for overwhelming the site. :/
You are competitive except for the ACT score, which is at the 25th percentile for Cornell and lower for the other schools.

Using probable success of EA/ED admission as the criterion, the EA/ED should probably be used at Cornell.

I find it unlikely that you will be offered EA/ED to any of these schools with an ACT below 30 or 31.
Hello. I have a very personal question about my teenage son.Serious answers only please.Thanks.?
We had a swimming pool installed at our house about the time our son turned 9/10 & he has always been a good swimmer & since that time with all the practice he has gotten at home & school he has gotten better to the point to where he is the capt. of the swim team for his age.He is 14 almost 15.He has a beautiful girlfriend who is here at our home often. He likes/loves her.I do know that they have kissed with heavy "petting". .However, there are 4 different guys that also come over regularly to swim & hang out.He has never done this with all of them@ once but I know for a fact that sometimes when he is alone in his room with 1 of these other teens that they masturbate together.I do not think that they touched each other. He has twin beds in his room.I can go in after they leave the room and find *** stains on the head boards where it has hit and rolled down. Also I keep track of the amount of lotion in the bottle.Do you think my son is gay/bi or curious or just going through a stage??
Maybe he's trying to work that one out for himself. I dont think he is Gay, as he has feelings for his girlfriend but, you wont know until he knows, and he's not even 15, still to young to even be heavy petting with his girlfriend. Just leave him be for a while and leave some comdoms by the pool just in case.
My chances at Cornell and Columbia?
I'm going to apply to the College of Arts and Sciences.

SAT: (Not sending)
ACT: 33
AP: 11 AP's (in every subject) will all be 3's, 4's, and 5's.
GPA: 4.0 (unweighted), 4.7 (weighted)
Will graduate in the top 5% of my class and "summa *** laude"
SAT II: American History: 720, Chemistry 680, and Spanish&Listening 740.
AP State Scholar
Laureate graduate diploma: requirements were a 8,000 word research project with powerpoint that were presented before a committee focused on GLBT rights, and passing at least 6 AP's in 3 subject areas.
Awards: Academic Achievement Awards 3 years so far, Drama Department Award, and various performing arts awards at the school, district, and state level.
ECs: Drama Club president (16 different shows), Gay Straight Alliance president (I'm organizing a city-wide GLBT dance for teens to feel comfortable), school president for the International Thespian Society (National Honor Thespian), Glee Club (many gigs) historian, Academic Team, Key Club, piano, guitar, and National Honor Society.
Volunteer: I've done over 300 hours of volunteer service as a camp counselor for a guyren's drama camp, and many hours with the library and local hospital (want to study medicine).

**I'm a 1st generation American with family leaving communist Cuba, and took regular classes my freshman year.... Hope that doesn't hurt me.

Overall, do I stand a good chance? I know Cornell isn't the hardest Ivy to get into in terms of scores, but do I look like a well rounded applicant? Any answers would be great, thanks.
when i applied to cornell they specifically said that they are interested more in personality and potential than in scores (though of course those count too). generally speaking because you are involved in many activities idsay your chances are pretty good. however there are very few slots so even if you are entirely qualified you may very well not get in. still your portfolio is quite well rounded.
